Hello Folks!
How are you all doing?
Some may be crying more than usual; feel exhausted; have fluid retention; digestive disturbances; trapped wind; sore feet and hips; racing thoughts; fears arising; difficulty deciding what to eat; and perhaps have a desire to run out the door and head to the mountains or somewhere you haven't been in a while.
Doing the same old, same old just isn't cutting it anymore but many have no idea what to do about that! There's a feeling of wanting to shake off anything that feels outdated or unpleasant. Just like a dog shakes off excess water after a swim. This is a great Full Moon to help us with this.
Concentrating on doing the little things that make us happy is a step in the right direction.
The Earth sign of Capricorn is represented by the Goat. Characteristics include being ambitious; loyal; having need for security and stability; hard working; tolerant; disciplined; can be very funny, and helpful.
Their not so lovely traits can include stubborness; being cold, I mean ice cold; a tendency to be moody; short tempered, and they can hold a grudge forever.
Another big astrological event to mention is the movement of Uranus, the planet of sudden shocks and surprises, into Gemini on July 7. It will leave for a few months, in November, but go back into the sign until 2033. This can bring big, sudden changes to our earth; communication, and society, as people demand change. I feel strongly, that government leaders or people in high positions, could find themselves resigning or pulled from power and powerful corporations could find themselves in hot water.
This a great Full Moon for breakthroughs, aha moments, and manifestation of seeds we previously planted, even some from years ago. Perseverence pays off. If there are dreams or goals that have not manifested, do they need to be tweaked. Are they still relevant for who we are today?
Some may be looking forward to getting a new pet, or two. This could come as a result of moving to a new home or being at home more to take care of one.
Some could literally find the home of their dreams during this time.
Try to be the calm one in the storm. This could involve talking someone out of making a hasty decision that could have serious consequences for themselves or others, particularly where finances are at stake.
We can embrace the grounding Capricorn energy to settle our thoughts and actions when things feel turbulent or we want to be impulsive. Refraining from having that extra coffee will be helpful at this time, as nerves could be sizzling as it is.
Please be careful when driving. People are not concentrating.
I'm being shown a goat, high up on a mountain looking down at the water below, as I type this message. This tells me that some of us need to be prepared to go to higher elevations, and move quickly, like a goat. There have been a lot of tragic events involving water recently and it seems that the waters aren't finished rising yet. We might have a good idea of what do when we hear a fire alarm or when a fire breaks out but how many of us know what to do if caught in a flood situation? I'm hearing 'life jacket' repeatedly. It might not save us from debris injuries in a flood but it does increase the chance of surviving one. Here are a few brief points I've been given to consider:
Get life jackets for each family member and keep them in an easy to reach spot in the home, if living in an area prone to flooding or near a large body of water. Bring them in the car if travelling, along with a kit for breaking car windows and cutting seat belts.
If there's a potential flood alert or flood warning. Please take action to get to higher ground right away, even if alerts are frequent and floods previously didn't happen. These are not like previous times! Have valuables and important paperwork ready to grab and go. Bring decent footwear. Flip flops won't do if needing to run to higher ground. Take a route away from the specified danger area and not towards it in an attempt to beat the flood before it arrives. We have seen how fast the water can rise.
Don't try to cross a flooded area. 6" of moving water can knock an adult over and 12" can carry a car away. 2 ft of moving water can move mid-sized vehicles. This information is taken from https://www.alberta.ca/flood-preparedness
This July moon is also known as the Full Buck Moon because it's the time of year when male deer or bucks' antlers grow. It is also known as Thunder Moon because of the increase in thunderstorms during this month. No matter the name, it's a month of heightened activity and growth. There's a busyness about it. I hope you find time to take a break from it all and create a little ritual that soothes the soul, and maybe the sunburn too.
Until next time my dears, please look after yourselves, in every way. xoxo
