Hello Folks! How are you feeling?

This may have been a rough week for many. It brought fatique, frequent trips to the bathroom, headaches, ear pressure, ear ringing, palpitations, neck aches, hip pain, heightened anxiety, emotional outbursts ie crying, anger, frustration.

Empaths, in particular, have likely been hardest hit, feeling the sorrow, anguish and chaos from around the world, which has made it difficult to keep thoughts organized. There is so much going on that is pulling on their energy.

Taurus (the bull) is a sign that welcomes stability in love, home and money. Is known to be honest, loyal and practical. On the flip side, it is a sign that likes to control, can be stubborn and over-indulgent. Have you ever watched a bull? He commands attention. He struts around, the "ladies" following closely behind, slow moving, until provoked, then look out!

Tension has been building in and on Mother Earth and her inhabitants and it is coming to a head.

Also on April 26/27, Mars = aggression, violence and war, is opposite Pluto = power, world leaders, death and rebirth. It's turbulent!

Plutonium, which is a fuel used for nuclear reactors and in generators for space crafts, is named after Pluto. There could be issues related to these areas. As we move on from this opposition the steady side of Taurus will, hopefully, bring calm, as long as the bull isn't provoked. Hang in there!

Turning the focus inwards could help a lot. Concentrating on the little things that we can control to help us feel grounded and stable.

One thing to look at is how we feel after eating certain foods. If they are giving us indigestion, it is a sign to stop eating them, at least for now, and eat more of the foods that agree with us.

About a week ago I kept getting the message that, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away", so I've been eating one daily. Are you being guided to eat specific foods or take certain vitamins?

During periods of heightened anxiety we often don't do the basic things that help us feel better, ie eat regular meals composed of foods without additives and stimulants; get outdoors; sit under a big tree and read, draw or journal, anything other than scrolling on the phone; lift handfuls of soil or sand then let it fall slowly to the ground, repeating until feeling calmer; get into the shower; be around people who don't trigger anxiety; ask for hugs from loved ones and pets; do a form of meditation; diffuse essential oils ie lavender, rose, geranium, clary sage; drink herbal tea ie chamomile, lavender, rose and watch a favourite series or movie under a fluffy blanket; call a friend or anything else that helps stop the spiralling.

We could experience others trying to control or impose their rules and opinions upon us and vice versa. This won't end well! lol We are unique, sovereign individuals who won't tolerate being pushed around or dismissed. We can choose to walk away or get defensive. Triggers show us which areas we need to heal so bear that in mind if in this situation.

We are witnessing people getting their karma at the moment. We all get it. Good and bad. What we put out, we get back. The message is to be neutral or empathetic, not judgemental or revelling in the fact.

We are also being asked to be patient with ourselves and less critical. Stop beating ourselves up when we make mistakes or handle situations poorly. We sometimes hold on to what we see as our failures, for years. Same old thoughts of failure and shame swimming around in our heads. That exam we didn't pass or that interview we flopped. If we learned from those experiences then the repeating thoughts no longer serve to teach us anything and can be let go.

With everything going on it would be easy to forget about setting new moon intentions and planting seeds for the future. People are weary. I strongly feel there's a need to start afresh and focus on the thing we want most of all then make a plan for how to achieve it. Not a bunch of intentions that we don't have energy for.

When I posted the message for the last new moon, at the end of March, there was a feeling that we were approaching the highest, scariest loop of the wild roller coaster ride that we've been on for the last 5+ years. Well, it feels like we've reached it. We're in it, hanging upside down and screaming but aware that the worst is almost behind us and we are soon to get off.

Some could be getting psychic flashes or glimpses of a bright future on the horizon. There is contained excitement building : )) I can't wait to see what's next!

That's all for this message. I hope it helps some of you, especially, if you're in the thick of the wide range of emotions.

Until next time dear souls, be gentle with yourselves! xoxox

Hello Folks!

How are you doing?

Some may be feeling agitated and nervous, wondering what's around the corner. There could be pain in the neck, throat, hips, lower and upper back, feet, teeth, jaw, pressure in the ears and headaches. You could be could experiencing floaty type sensations and vibrations in the body, watery eyes and fuzzy vision (it will pass). We've had some strong solar winds and geomagnetic storms, so physical symptoms are often noticed. For more information, I always recommend https://www.youtube.com/@StefanBurns

Dreams can be vivid and full of messages. Thoughts could be less chaotic and negative now that Mercury is direct.

Empaths may have been picking up on the depression, anger and fear of those who are very tied to the financial markets, as RRSP's and other investments have taken a big hit.

While the Full Moon is in Libra, the sign which represents balance, justice and harmony, we are in fiery Aries season, a sign that is unafraid of conflict. Things feel out of balance. We'll have to find ways to stay in balance or restore balance during this period, perhaps by developing a new practice.

The Pink Moon got it's name from the pink Spring wildflower called Phlox, which is native to parts of North America. How about picking up a Phlox plant from the local garden centre and tending to it in a warm environment until the last frost has passed and it can be planted outside?

We can create softness during this harsh, volatile period. Wear pink, diffuse rose oil, place a rose quartz crystal in a jug of water and place it in the moonlight, drink rose petal tea, play soft, healing music (I'm listening to this as I type (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obeoWPEV3rc). The list goes on!

Over the last few days, I received messages regarding this not only being a time to create balance but to heal. It started with a dream that was explaining how doing what you love changes your DNA. I didn't know about the validity of that so I searched for articles and found that love, in general, can influence DNA through a process of epigenetics, which I'd heard of but not delved into. In short, this can activate or deactivate specific genes related to aspects of life, such as health and wellness. That's a great reason to do what you love and love what you do! If any of you reading this message have delved into epigenetics, please feel free to share your findings : )

I also heard, "Let go of suffering. Let healing in." One has to be released before the other can fully come in.

I was working with "The Fairies' Oracle" deck, by Brian Froud, as I do, a couple of times a week and the card that jumped out was "The Singer of Healing". The meaning reads: "True healing must take place on all levels at once --- body, mind and spirit....we cannot expect to change one without changing the others. Our bodies do not do things on their own. The links between different aspects of being are many, complex, and often obscure. And yet, the principle of healing them is simplicity itself. We need only to let go of the things that are hurting us and nurture ourselves with the things that benefit us. So simple! So difficult!"

Why is that? Full Moon energy is known for releasing, exposing truths and manifesting. This one feels particularly powerful so why not use it to welcome in all that nurtures and benefits us and let go of all that doesn't.

During my training as a RN, the focus was on healing the 'whole' person but what I found over the years was that it was not the focus in the healthcare system. Other modalities have to be sought in order to treat the whole being. We also need to explore how to balance and heal ourselves.

I hope this message helps awaken a desire to step onto a path of deeper healing and fulfillment.

I can honestly say that it has for me.

Until next time beautiful wildflowers, be soft with yourselves. xoxo

Ps: As I was about to publish this post, I saw my first robin of the season perched on the garden fence. (When robins appear, loved ones are near. Also said to mean, find what gives you happiness and comfort, here and now. Live in the present.) Very fitting for this moon message : )
