Hello Folks!
How are you doing on this mysterious, misty November day?
During the last few days you may have had very restless nights, and days. I'm picking up on a plethora of very strong and extreme energies today. If you are an empath, you will know what I'm talking about. There's a lot going on in a great number of countries around the world and in the cosmos. There's anticipation of some big "stuff" coming. Some people are literally fearing for their lives, and for others there's a drum roll for the arrival of their best lives.
Scorpio energy is generally intense, loyal, mysterious, passionate, secretive and transformational. We will likely witness some of these traits over the coming days as individuals, leaders and groups stand their ground! Unwilling to compromise! Just be patient! Don't react, if possible!
Scorpio also rules finance. Getting finances in order has been a theme in a couple of the previous readings, with tips on how to do that. You know that old saying...."Don't put all your eggs in one basket." If you do, perhaps it's time to diversify.
On October 21, there were five magpies in my garden. There are normally one or two. Never five! I remembered the rhyme about five magpies meaning silver so I took this as a message and looked into its value. It reached the highest price in 12 years that very morning. It has dropped a bit again but something to consider adding to the basket, if you haven't already done so.
I was also "nudged" to look at horoscopes and their relationship with money so here's an interesting article about that, from 2021.
For those without steady employment, not enough hours, or need a bit extra in the wallet, it's a good time to pick up a seasonal position to supplement the income and a good opportunity to try something that could lead to casual work throughout the year. We often have several skills that allow us flexibility and other financial opportunities. We often limit ourselves to the career we have chosen, forgetting that we are more than our jobs. Many feel over qualified to do a "menial" job so stay unemployed rather than take what's available or seek training in another area in the interim.
How about looking for a job that gives staff discount off the clothing or homewares that you love or gives bonuses? That's a great incentive!
As New Moons and the dark period just before them, are recognized as the time to go within, reflect and set intentions, those notions are even more potent in Scorpio season. With Halloween/Samhain yesterday, All Saints Day today and the Day of the Dead tomorrow, we often feel reflective about passed on loved ones and traditions. How we embrace these days changes as we age. When we are young, it's all about the costume and the sack of goodies. As we grow up and, perhaps, have families of our own it's all about ensuring our children have their desired costumes and making time to take them around the neighbourhood. There's also the pressure of having enough candy for the 100+ children that knock on the door. Once our children are old enough to go out on their own, parents are presented with the opportunity to embrace this liminal time differently. Are there any deep, spiritual intentions you would like to set? Are there traditions you've always wanted to honour but haven't got round to yet? Do you want to start some new ones?
To honour my Paternal Grandmother, I baked apple pies, as she did, every Halloween. To honour my Maternal Grandmother, our ancestors and the legacy they passed to me, I read some tea leaves and here's what they had to say!
The arch and heart showed up strongly beside eachother = Love, romance and long term commitments coming. Feels more traditional than the wishy washy, noncommital sort of relationships of the past years.
The boat on calm waters = smoother sailing ahead. (Can't wait)
Children playing = bring childlike fun into your life. Have more fun with your children. What does your inner child crave?
Activities in the snow = search for those free activities and fun events at this time of year. I also feel that this can be getting involved with a charity or cause close to your heart.
There's a feeling of wonderment. Happiness isn't handed to us on a plate. We need to create it for ourselves. Have you ever seen those little children in "Third World" countries, playing with old wheels, sticks etc, laughing and loving every minute? They are making their own happiness happen.
Now! On a more serious note! I wasn't sure if I should write about this or not but I asked to be shown what we need to know so I need to share it.
"J 15" was standing out to me and I heard January 15. Beside it I was shown the abbreviation for an old Irish terrorist organization. What I felt when I saw these messages wasn't pleasant. It was a feeling of shock.
I looked the date up to see if it was significant and saw it was the birthdate of Martin Luther King Jr, in 1929. He was a Baptist Minister, who was involved in the US Civil Rights Movement, and was assassinated in 1968. An annual holiday in his name takes place on the third Monday of January. Next year it will be on January 20, which also happens to be Inauguration Day, the day the new US president takes his/her oath of office.
Interestingly, the Irish terrorist organization shown to me, ramped up following an attack on a civil rights march, in N. Ireland, in 1969.
Bearing in mind that I felt shock along with what I was shown in the cup, not joy. The few things I take from the message are:
*Jan15 - 20 could bring a surge in activism for civil rights. History has shown that these events often lead to violent clashes.
*The abbreviation for the terrorist group could represent terrorist groups in general, not just related to the Irish one. There could be a resurgence of one or more of these organizations.
*Jan 15 - Inauguration Day/Martin Luther King Jr Day, could see clashes and/or acts of terrorism.
So! Nothing is set in stone. We can change outcomes. We can choose not to engage in events that could see flared tempers. We can send prayers and positive energy to every situation. I may not even have interpreted the message correctly. (Hopefully, I haven't)
Either way, we can choose to stay firmly rooted in peace and unity rather than fear and division.
That is all for this intense New Moon. Stay centred as best as you can during this turbulent time and soak up and spread joy where you can!
